Over All Outcome of Class

The over all outcome of Digital File Preparation was a great experience. I learned many things in this class and I feel that they will benefit me in the future. I liked the teacher and the way she taught the class. It was well prepared and was understood well. I have learned more about Adobe software and how to use them with different projects such as Notepads, Business Cards, Direct Mail, Publication Ads, and more. I enjoyed taking this class and completing all the required assignments.

So what are they? Much like QR codes, they are called Microsoft tags. Also, like QR codes, they are easily generated and readers are available.

Learning Outcome
What I learned after doing thing project is what it takes to present a publication ad into a magazine. I learned how to do the math for ad specifications to make sure that the ad is correct when making and correct when headed for print with the magazine company.

Synopsis of overall project
Layout: 5x7 Full Bleed 4 color

Through the whole process of Variable Data Direct Mail it was a excellent project. There are many steps in making a fantastic final piece. First, it began with the creation of thumbnails and a final rough. Within this a purpose, target audience, and call to action was designed.
Second, screen grabbing the rough to design in a Mac program Adobe illustrator.  This process took valuable time and effort to make a great piece of direct mail. Making this design on the software is called a vector. These vectors then will be placed into another Mac software Adobe Indesign.
This creates links so the file from illustrator won't be lost and always connected. Also, in Indesign fonts are are used to present information placed on the Direct Mail.
Final, files are saved exported into a PDF and also packaged. Now, files can be transferred or printed.
